The Ferrari 643 model kits by Rosso Corporation are legendary scale replicas of the 1991 Formula One race car. Because a 1992 factory fire destroyed the Japanese company's inventory and forced them to close, these kits are incredibly rare and highly sought-after by collectors.
The Rarity and History Rosso Corporation was a Japanese model manufacturer founded in 1992. They made incredibly detailed kits of the famous 1991 Ferrari 643, which was driven by racing legends Alain Prost and Jean Alesi. The 643 featured a V12 engine that made 710 horsepower.Shortly after their release, a fire destroyed the Rosso factory and most of their stock.
Because the company went out of business, these kits were never made again.
